This is a fine example of a narrow concho belt that can either be worn easily in jeans or made into a hatband and bracelet. Each of the conchos is oval with a repousse technique. Repoussé is when the metal (silver, in this case) is hammered or stamped from the back to create a raised design on the front. The details are often refined from the front afterward using chasing, which sharpens lines and adds definition without significantly raising the metal further. Each concho measures 3/4 inches by 7/8 inches.
