This carving by Jacob Warner was crafted from a piece of cottonwood bark and it is covered with indigenous Southwestern motifs, representing a spirit figure and a stylized landscape of Laguna pueblo. It is adorned with vibrant turquoise, red, and white paint, and geometric designs and tribal representations in a rustic aesthetic. There are 9 pots on the left side of the carving that are catching and transferring rainwater which is precious to the people of the pueblo. There are an additional two other pieces of pottery to the right side, painted in the traditional way. Two longhairs are the mistresses of the rainwater collection on this piece. It measures 23 " tall by 4 1/2 " wide at the widest part and represents a magnificent level of detail from this artist.
